Copyright Suit In Bombay High Court Seeks Stay On Release Of Shahid Kapoor Starrer "Jersey"

The Shahid Kapoor starrer film – Jersey which is set to release on April 22 has hit a roadblock with a writer named Rupesh Jain filing a copyright infringement suit against the producers before the Bombay High Court. The suit is likely to be heard by Justice Riyaz Chagla for interim reliefs of a stay of the movie's release today. The respondents include producers Dil Raju, Brat Film through Aman Gill, Allu Aravind, Telugu film producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and actor Shahid Kapoor.
